10 mistakes men make when buying pants

Am I the only one who thinks that buying pants is one of our big decisions? I can buy a shirt, coat or shoes and I go to the store and decide based on taste, but buying pants makes me very nervous and brings out my most indecisive self.
I think about the cut, the color, if it is a jean, the type of wash (worn) it has, the size and the model itself, that is, if it is skinny, straight or wide. Still, no matter how much I look at it, it is perhaps the garment that costs me the most to take home. What am I doing wrong? Today I analyze the 10 mistakes that men make when buying pants.
1.-The test

Don't be fooled by grandmother's tricks, measuring your waist with your arm, wrapping the upper part of your pants around your neck and other popular legends doesn't always work. We seem to be afraid to go into the fitting room and really see how it looks. There is life beyond the clerk who tidies up the piles of clothes. Who will be behind the mirror?
and when we buy online ...
This is more than an error of ours, it is an error of the brands. Why does what one calls a "Jose" another decide to call it "Pepe"? You see some fantastic pants at that Nordic meter ninety that they have as a model and you want to wear THOSE pants, between the fact that we cannot try it on and that we do not control the sizing ... there is no one who buys it. But in the end we add it to our cart and swipe the card! Deserved is our disappointed face when it arrives.
Conclusion, we have to do a master's degree in industrial sizing and pants.
3.-We get used to a model and there is no one to take us out of it
Surely many when they read this article do not feel identified at all, but I do not know if it happens to you that when we feel comfortable with a specific type of pants and we use it a lot there is no one to take us out of it and no matter how much someone tell us to try another, we are still determined not to.
4.-We are not clear about what suits us best

We each have a different body and although the ultra-skinny model suits your friend, perhaps a straighter one will favor us more. The same happens on the contrary, I do not understand how there are still men who are scared of skinny pants.
5.-We are too practical and sometimes it is not the best option
I have an important dinner, I want more formal pants, I buy them and from now on I baptize them as "formal pants for important occasions". Surely you have many pants that you can give out at other times of the day and you can combine them with a more casual or sporty style.
6.-The mirrors of the stores are deceiving

I hope we have those wonderful mirrors that they put us in the big chains, that they have some trick to encourage consumption. It's okay that they scale us a bit but we can't go through life glued to those mirrors. If you see that they do not fit you at all, the time has come to leave them.

7.-We are scared of everything outside of denim

In the world of pants, there are other very attractive fabrics that we should give a chance to. And you will say, But if I also wear chino pants! We still have a way to go. Fight, fight, fight, friend in the battle of the pants.
8.-Question of measures
And see that the thing is simple. I personally that they stay on the hips, I find it very uncomfortable to wear such pants and on top of me it does not favor me at all. Those of us who are shorter, it is recommended that we look for pants that fit more towards the waist. It will make us look taller (even if it's all a lie).
9.-We always look for the cheapest and ...
And it is not that I spend a fortune on clothes, but I have verified that like that campaign that you repeat all the time on TV, in the end "cheap is expensive" and of course, having to buy you new pants every month for sure that we are not very funny. If we spend more money on other clothes, why not invest in some quality pants? (which does not have to mean brand).
10.-We are not sure where to buy them

Surely there is a store out there that has the perfect pants for both style and cut but we have not even gone in to look because we are loyal and relaxed consumers. I am clear that it is in Zara where I find both the tone and the model that best suits me but I like to try elsewhere. Are you clear on it?
What you think? How many of the mistakes you see here do you make?
